This is one of those places where you can speak your voice and jumpstart change, which is what this country badly needs. We can express our opinions and exercise our freedom, and ultimately, we can change the world in small but significant ways. I, for one, am strongly against the death penalty and would like for people to change their minds to my point of view, which in the end, is the civilized one. We have for too long allowed our government to blind us and deceive us by saying that it's alright for them to legally kill people, as if they were above us and could take such decisions as to who dies. That, only God, can do. It's dangerous how they blind us, because with that, they can get away with anything and that is when we compromise the greatness of America, something that should never be sacrificed for something as barbaric as the death penalty.
