Sarah makes her debut as a news reporter for Think MTV!

I just got back from filling up my tank, and it cost me 48 dollars. Forty-eight! Things I would rather spend 48 dollars on:

 1. Forty-eight toys from the ninety-nine cent store. 2. Two, count them two, copies ofIdentifying Optimal Groups for Making Judgmental Decisionsby Stephen Stumpf (two of you will get this)3. Getting KRUNK! jk…. Days like these send a nagging reminder of the need to create renewable, sustainable, and frankly, cheaper alternatives. While the Helios House is far from perfect, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. I had my doubts a gas station that claims to be environmentally fr...

Joey's Return

In this weeks episode, Joey comes back from rehab.  It was really great to have him back in the house.  It felt like a missing puzzle piece had returned home!

It was frustrating to watch some of the roommates ignore both Joey's and the addiction specialist's requests and go out drinking his first night home.  It was hard for the roommates to understand that the reason they shouldn't drink in front of Joey is not a judgement on them, it's just a way to show support for their friend.

I have done my own share of drinking (my 21st birthday comes to mind) so obviously, I think it's fine to have fun. Just not in the house in front of a recovering alcoholic that we love and want to support.  Joey felt frustrated when Brianna told him she didn't owe him anything, and I have to agree that it wasn't about owing him anything, but just about being a good friend.

Sarah stays on the green band wagon

Having self-admittedly been on the green band wagon for a while, this Arizona native may have had an easier time adapting to the Real World: Hollywood house than others. For Sarah, being on the Real World:Hollywood was a chance to help the world turn green.

Sarah did learn some new tips in tinsletown despite her predispositon to eco-friendly living...like using a landline consumes less energy than a cordless phone.

The highlight for her was using the hybrid to get around as a few bucks will get you farther than in a gas guzliing suv.

After the season ended, Sarah took her eco-friendly lifestyle one step futher and bought organic cotton jeans. The best part about them is that you only wash them twice a year!
