Why I’m Here
My mom died of breast cancer December of 2006, my senior year of high school. My mom was a fighter and she asked my brother to continue her fight so that no one had to go through what she had to. My brother started a campaign called 5K35, the hospital room number my mom was in when she took her last breath. He has asked me to be his running partner and I couldn't say no. With my brother and I working hand-in-hand, we hope to inform and fundraise enough money so no one has to die from breast cancer and have to go through what my mom faced.
