Mokugift eTrees are like ecards, but unlike cards, eTrees can be displayed all year round on mokugift.com. For every eTree you send, mokugift will plant a tree in the real world. HOW DOES IT WORK? This is a common question. We partner with reputable reforestation organizations to plant seedlings in large quantitative to achieve lower unit costs. We plant seedlings instead of grown trees because seedlings can sequester a large volume of carbon in a lifetime and they increase the number of tree on the planet. We do not plant grown trees because that does not increase the number of trees on the planet, it only consumes fuel to move the tree from one location to another.
