Mission Statement
The Dove Self-Esteem Fund's mission is to foster positive self-esteem in the next generation and to help all girls feel that they are all beautiful. Our hope is to positively affect the lives of 5 million girls worldwide by 2010 through our resources such as school programs, online activities, and workshops for girls and their mothers/mentors, resources, booklets, and more.
Self-esteem has an effect on every aspect of a person’s life. When girls and women feel positive about themselves and the way they look, they are more likely to engage in life, enjoy social interactions and live up to their full potential.
