I'm the Street Team '08 citizen journalist from Massachussets.  I was born in Guatemala of U.S. Citizen parents, and spent 18 years of my life there before being accepted to Harvard College.  After completing my freshman year, I ended up taking time off to retrace the route of a migrant from Guatemala into the United States.  Run-ins with corrupt policeman and smugglers that threatened to shoot me changed my life forever.  Blogging the whole trip up was my first introduction to new media and I've committed myself to citizen journalism ever since.  I now blog at Citizen Orange.

Read my introductory post to get a sense of what I'm trying to accomplish during my 11 months with the Street Team.  It is the participation of Massachusetts youth in this new media experiment that's going to make this work.  There's no other way.  So get in touch with me and let me know what you want me to cover.  I will defer to your voices.
