National Mentoring Month is a national media campaign created to raise awareness of the importance of mentoring and to recruit adults to volunteer as mentors to young people to help them achieve their full potential. NMM is spearheaded by the Harvard Mentoring Project of the Harvard School of Public Health, MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership, and the Corporation for National and Community Service. In collaboration with a network of state and local partners throughout the country, the campaign sponsors National Mentoring Month each January (NMM).
