I joined Think because I believe it's something that people need to do more often. For real, I joined because I wanted to come to a place where a teen's voice can be taken seriously. It's one thing to have your voice heard, it's better when people take in what you say and process it.
People that know me wonder why I'm so quiet. Well, you seem quiet if know is there to listen to you. It's the same concept as "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?" I know if I fall, the people of Think MTV will be there to hear it.
I'm part of a teen news media called Friendship News Network (FNN) where teens have control. We pick and write our own stories that affect teens today. We have a magazine, a website, a radio show and TV broadcast. The thing is we're only local. We want to branch out and spend our message as far as possible. With the help of think our message can go global.
