Since forming in 2001, Fall Out Boy has encountered much success in the entertainment industry. With millions of albums sold and a collection of hit singles under their belt, they are a force in the music scene.
Their newest album,Folie à Deux, will be released Tuesday, November 4th. It is fittingly released on the same day as election day: (Band member Pete Wentz has been a vocal supporter of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party). But no matter what your political stance may be, be sure to get out and vote on your way to pick up their new tracks.

In addition to encouraging political involvement, Fall Out Boy has toured the globe to raise awareness on a variety of social causes. They have played in the 2007 American leg of the Live Earth concert.
They have also been strong supporters of Invisible Children Inc., an organization that raises awareness about the plight of child soldiers in Uganda. Pete Wentz has also been a part of Invisible Children’s Displace Me Campaign, a national event in which activists from all over the country abandoned the comforts of home life by displacing themselves for an evening. This event worked to increase understanding of the difficulties that many displaced Ugandan children must go through everyday.
