Christina Aguilera has seriously brought everything back to basics including the art of giving with an interesting twist. When this diva gives, she gives her all. Instead of keeping all her wedding gifts in 2005, she gave each and everyone of them out to individual charities that helped with Hurricane Katrina. This glamorous singer also voices out her sweet essence to the youth by being politically active and making them aware that each vote counts. In late 2007, Aguilera became the official spokesperson of the non-partisan organization “Rock the Vote,” with hope to try and encourage young people to participate in the 2008 Presidential Elections. Aguilera has even gone back to her childhood hometown of Pittsburgh to contribute $200,000 to the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. She is a huge supporter of PETA and Defenders of Wildlife. Aguilera also collaborated in a charity album for Amnesty International by recording John Lennon’s “Mother” which included other artists. The sells of this unique compilation would help end genocide in DARFUR. Believe it or not, there is not one note this star can’t reach.
