I love someone very much who is just 15 years of age and is a type 1 diabetic. He took this as a challenge it did not slow him down one bit it impowered him now hes changeing minds on this disease.I dont know what he goes through but hes just simply amazing and if you see him. You would never think hes battling a disease. He tours the US and is selling millions of CD's and his name is Nick Jonas and he changed me. Im willing to do anything to help find a cure. He changed me now i need to return the favor!

I have friends and family fighting with diabetes and I am a big supporter. I even try not to eat certian things as a way of supporting efforts. I said try...lol...I know that staying away from the sweeter things in life can be difficult struggle.

Hey everyone. I just want everyone to know that I am all for supporting this organization. I discovered a couple months ago that one member of my favorite band was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago. I was truly inspired by the way that this individual told his story and how he stayed strong and encouraged others to do the same. I began researching all about type 1 diabetes and I realized that diabetes is a big epidemic all over the world. I never realized that so many people were effected by diabetes and I wanted to help everyone. Thus, I have started a fundraising site to raise money for the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, Inc. in order to find a cure for diabetes.
