Mission Statement
The USO (United Service Organizations) provides morale, welfare and recreational services to U.S. military personnel and their families. The USO is a nonprofit, charitable organization, relying on the generosity of the American people to support its programs and services. Through a network of more than 130 USO centers worldwide, the USO is a able to offer free Internet and e-mail access, entertainment lounges with large screen television, DVD player and video gaming consoles, libraries and reading rooms, children's play areas and snacks and refreshments to troops and their families. USO programs include USO Operation Phone Home®, Operation USO Care Package, USO 2 Go, the Mobile USO Fleet, Operation Enduring Care, Operation Mail Call and United Through Reading® Military Program.
