Why I’m Here
I served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division and did two year-long tours in Iraq. I’ve been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and have started counseling and medication.
My dream has always been to attend college. My military service entitles me to partial tuition assistance, but it’s not enough to cover my daily expenses. I have to take care of my family and myself, which is a difficult task.
