You Can Make a Difference!

The holiday season is upon us!
For many of us, these days are cheerful; we visit family and friends, we give and receive gifts, and of course, we eat. People who have been abused or who are living in abusive situations often come to associate the holidays with stress, increased violence, fear and concern for their safety.

This year, you can help those who need it.
With a donation of $50, $25, $10 or even $1, you can make a difference: every donation helps!

Help us help others.

Every 2 minutes, another American is sexually assaulted. One in 6 women and one in 33 men will be victims of sexual assault or rape in their lifetime. This is an issue that affects us all.

RAINN is seeking volunteers for a variety of projects. Join this important cause in one or more of these worthwhile campaigns:

- Staff the National Sexual Assault Hotline through your local rape crisis center and give support to victims in your area.

- Volunteer for RAINN's new Online Hotline and be a part of this generation's most innovative source of support for sexual assault victims on the Internet.

-Raise awareness in your community about sexual assault prevention and recovery by planning and participating in local events.

-Speak out against sexual assault...
