Her name is Skye Lynn Budnick
5'6
180
brown hair
blue eyes
she was last seen Monday night March 31
we checked her email and she had purchased a one way ticket to Japan,
She loves everything that has to do with the japanese culture,
She never told any friends or family about this trip, but she has been very depressed, and has always said that she wanted to leave to go to Japan and just kill herself there.
Thats what we think she is going to do, or has done already.
A missing person report has been filed, her school has been contacted, her friends have been notified, and calls have been non stop just trying to find her.
I'm posting this, cause I dont think the word can get out there fast enough, Her Itinerary said she was going to Japan, stops in Tokyo and then there is another flight afterwards that goes to Sapparro.
She doesnt have a cell phone, she didnt pack any belongings, she took her laptop that is all we know, she has her email address which i...

Welcome to the age of mobile technology, and welcome to the age of the savvy politician who knows how to flood your inbox begging for support. With more and more people tapping into the internet and mobile phones to get their current information; some politicians out there either know it’s the ideal way to get the youth vote or have a young staff who tells them how to get that emerging and crucial demographic.

Throughout the past few weeks I’ve gone out of my way to track down people and organizations that create an environment for healthy discussions about politics, education, and everything else that is a concern to the American population. What I stumbled upon was the Connecticut Forum.
The Connecticut Forum is a non-profit organization that was founded sixteen years ago in 1992. Their mission: “To encourage the free and active exchange of ideas in Forums that inform, challenge, entertain, inspire, and build bridges among people and organizations in our community.” This is exactly what was emphasized when I spoke with Meredith Elgart, a senior associate with the Forum, who expressed such enthusiasm and passion about all that the Forum has brought to Connecticut.

Super Tuesday rolled into Connecticut and without too many surprises the winners of the Presidential primary were named. John McCain won for the Republicans, and a close vote for the Democrats went to Barak Obama, who
won by a tiny margin over Clinton.
The candidates came prepared to the state of Connecticut setting up rallies the weekend before Super Tuesday. John McCain held his in Fairfield at Sacred Heart University, word came in right as McCain’s rally ended that John Kerry was in the state down the street to spread his support for Barak Obama. Kerry first stopped off at a church in Bridgeport, then quickly made an appearance in New Haven, conducting a speech on the front lawn of the New Haven superintendent of school’s home.
The next day Barak Obama was speaking in Hartford, and no one could have predicted the amount of people that showed up for him. In no way did the crowd that showed up for McCain even slightly compare to the thousands that showed up to see Obama. On ...

This election year is one that is often referred to as a year that will bring dramatic changes to the world of politics.
Recently across the country many political figures have increasing been caught up in some less the moral conduct. There are an increasing number of politicians that have even served jail time.
Connecticut has had its share of the politically corrupt.
In recent news former governor John Rowland has been the topic of discussion since he has recently finished serving his jail sentence. Elected into office in 1995 he served as a prominent member of the Republi...

6:30pm eastern standard
I find myself in the middle of Hartford’s west end at a dimly lit pizza restaurant. I ended up here after scouring the streets and local spots to find where the politically active youths may hide. Let me just tell you, they sure hide. So I’m here , but I don’t find this as another disappointment, I have gained access to the television and have flipped through the channels to find the state coverage on the primary elections. So if I can’t find the political activists I will at least try to leave an impression on the few patrons here. ...

Happy Super Tuesday Everyone!!
So I'm offically kicking off my coverage of the primaries in the grand old state of Connecticut. After my first setback of missing Chelsea Clinton in New Haven, I plan to hit up the polling stations and get first hand coverage of the primaries and how this presidential election is effecting you.
I will be checking in throughout the day, posting blogs and LIVE videos of the lastest news that going down in Connecticut.
And..since I want to get to the voices that matter (which is yours!!), I encourage you to email me at meganminus@gmail.com and let me know where you're at, cause I'll be driving around the state all day and I don't want to miss a thing.
Right now it is almost 7:30 am and I'm at my home in Southington. I'll be hitting the road soon and I hope to see everyone out there!!
