Hi everyone, I just want to let you know the reason why I formed this organization. I returned from my Iraq deployment in January 2008 to find out my mother had stage-three brain cancer. She had no money, no insurance and Medicaid took 7 long months. Along the way, I witnessed the intolerable treatment from the government, hospitals, doctors, nurses, etc. etc. all because my mother didn't have money. I've spent thousands of dollars for her care and no one cared that we were about to move in the streets. This situation made me realize the suffering of many poverty-stricken cancer patients and inspired me to try and make a difference. It's bad enough to deal with the loved one faced with cancer but that much worse when you don't have money. Please spread the word so I can raise money for others faced with the cruelty of our society.
