It’s time to shout “Yes Yes Yes” to safe sex, as The Body Shop & MTV link-up to launch an exclusive Lip Butter, funding HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. This is one campaign you’ve totally got to shout about, as shockingly, every day more than 3,000 young people are newly infected with HIV. Join us and lend your voice to the safe sex campaign as research indicates many young people are continuing to ignore the importance of safe sex, taking risks with their own health and that of their sexual partners.

Each purchase of the Lip Butter ($8) through The Body Shop means that 100% of the money raised goes directly to the Staying Alive Foundation - a non-profit charity on a mission to save lives through empowering young people around the world to protect themselves and their communities against HIV/AIDS. The product will be sold in 60 countries and promoted through MTV channels around the world—making this a truly global effort.

Move Your Lips campaign update

So we're two weeks into the Move Your Lips campaign and things are going well.

The campaign runs until June 3rd so the important thing for us right now is to keep momentum.

One way we're trying to make sure this happens is with our Facebook Causes challenge.

Seeing as the campaign is all about 'getting lippy' about HIV we thought it was an ideal opportunity for people to speak up about the issue - and spread the word to lots of their friends.

We have 910 members so far- and that's in a pretty short space of time, so we're happy! we wanted to reach 1000 - but hey - hopefully it'll continue to gather pace.

Oh and did i mention that if you're the top recruiter to the cause you get rewarded with a fantastic trip to either London or New York - pretty cool, hey!

So - if you want to take part - and help a great cause - join up now -

Seven out of ten young women would refuse their partner sex if they weren’t wearing a condom, but seven out of ten young women believe it’s a man’s job to provide contraceptives.  Here's the kicker: only four in ten young men would say no to sex without a condom.  Clearly, young men and women have been keeping their lips sealed about sex, and The Body Shop and MTV want to help you unzip those lips.

At moveyourlips.com, you can send kisses to your friends, start a dialogue on the “Lip Love” wall, and even win tickets to the 2008 Europe Music Awards in Liverpool.  And if you want to do something about your real lips and the fight against HIV and AIDS, The Body Shop’s New Limited Edition Guarana Lip Butter will soften those lips for sweet kisses and...
