I'm here to reach as many fellow Americans as I can and say, "Wake up! Democracy is ours to defend and protect."

Don't be intimidated by the posers and ideologues who've wrapped themselves in the flag these past 8 years while defiling the very ideals of our nation. Speak out for education and intelligence. Speak out for gay and lesbian freedoms. Speak out for a woman's right to control her own body.

Speak out for peace and restraint. Speak out for transparency and dissent. Speak out for our Constitution. Speak out for scientific curiosity and liberal thought.

It's not too late to save our grand democratic experiment, but we've got to act now. Get up. Get out. Get involved. Get informed. Get passionate. This is the moment when we say to the world what kind of country America will aspire to be in the new millennium...
