I joined Think to connect with other activists and raise awareness about animal rights. Until a few years ago, I was a carefree meat-eater. I hadn't made the connection between dogs that I loved and the pigs, cows and chickens that I ate. When I learned about how animals are treated so cruelly on factory farms and in slaughterhouses, I became a vegetarian. It was an easy switch for me, and I immediately felt better about my health and purity. Honestly, it just took not eating meat for a few days to realize how much it had grossed me out all along.
I want people know that vegetarianism is fun, easy, and the best choice you can make for animals, for the environment, and for your own health. Check out my latest projects at www.collegeveg.org and www.princetonanimals.blogspot.com, and join the new Students for Animal Rights organization -- bigger things are yet to come!
