Friends of the World Food Program is busy helping the over 100 million people around the world who are now facing starvation as global food and fuel prices hit record highs. No longer able to purchase food, the most destitute are resorting to desperate measures, such as scavenging for food at garbage dumps and eating dirt, just to survive.
