What's New

In August 2007, the Partnership launched a new nationwide parent movement, called Time To Talk designed to raise awareness that parents have the power to uniquely and profoundly influence their children to lead healthy lives. Time To Talk provides parents and caregivers helpful tips and tools to have ongoing and frequent conversations with their teens and tweens about the risks of drugs and alcohol. Parents can sign up for free monthly e-newsletters at timetotalk.org and get gain access to great tools such as “Ten ways to get the conversation going” and “Grandparents Hold a Key to Keeping Teens Healthy and Drug-Free”. Insightful, timely and relevant content and resources are updated and added frequently. And, parents seeking more in-depth drug information and guidance will find links to the Parents Resource Center at www.drugfree.org.
