You have opinions. You have a voice. Stand up and be heard! Declare Yourself is the national nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign to energize and empower every eligible new voter in America to register and vote. Declare Yourself works with a ton of celebrities and athletes to get out its message, but it's people like you who make a difference in the candidates, watch some videos, and discuss the issues that are important to you with your friends. But most of all, register to vote! Find out how by visiting www.DeclareYourself.com. It’s simpler than you think. Register. Vote. Declare Yourself in '08!
THANK YOU FOR VOTING!
23 million young people cast their ballots in the 2008 general election!
To celebrate the power of the youth vote, Declare Yourself threw an inaugural bash in Washington DC. Jessica Alba, and our founder Norman Lear hosted the party. Jamie Foxx and Hayden Panettierre spoke about their excitement about the growing youth movement. John Legend and Maroon 5 performed, followed by Samantha Ronson, who DJ’d into the wee hours of Inauguration morning!
Check out these great snapshots from the party:

BORN AGAIN AMERICAN
At the Inaugural Bash, Declare Yourself also debuted our newest initiative: Born Again American.
After such a politically charged election, young people MUST stay involved and engaged. Our nation is undergoing a rebirth of American citizenship and Declare Yourself is doing everything we can to help you stay involved.
Born Again American – a new anthem for America – will inspire Americans to reclaim their sense of civic pride and pledge their ongoing involvement in the political process.
