The Disabled Veterans' LIFE Memorial Foundation’s missionis to establish a permanent, national Memorial honoring all veterans, past and present, who became disabled while serving in the United States Armed Forces. With the support of the United States Congress, the Memorial is called“The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial.”This is a long-overdue tribute to the unsung heroes of our democracy, those brave men and women who have placed their lives in harm's way, and who spend each day living with a deep and permanent reminder of their willing sacrifice.
