Senator John McCain's presidential campaign opened it Washington headquarters. The Bellevue office opened it’s doors Tuesday July 15th.

Washington Small Business Leaders Endorse McCain’s Jobs for America Economic Plan

Several Seattle area small business owners agreed with John McCain's economic plan last Monday. They joined together to endorse this map which is said to direct America and its economy back on track. The plan was designed to create millions of good American jobs, ensure our nation’s energy security, get the government’s budget and spending practices in order, and much more.

Registering To Vote-Four Days Too Late

With his 18th birthday falling on a Saturday this November, Zach Midgarden is just a few days shy of being able to vote in the coming presidential election.

 

“I’m four days too late”, says Zach. “But I will be registered to vote for some elections that will be going on in the spring.”

 

Zach picked his registration form at a local library and said the entire process took him less than 20 minutes.

Kate Chambers is a recent college graduate searching for the perfect fulltime career. Although the 25-year-old has a four year degree she says it is a struggle to find work. With more than 170,000 Washingtonians unemployed, Kate wonders what it will take to land a j-o-b.

Life After Iraq

After returning from the Iraq war Greg Dalrymple was diagnosed with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The anxiety disorder causes Greg to feel scared in confused during everyday activities. As the young veteran learns to cope with PTSD, he fears that some things in life will never be the same.

Paying for Pregnancy

Like millions of Americans Sophea Son is lacking health insurance and with child. Now, more than 7 months along the 21-year-old mother to be says she went nearly half of her pregnancy without seeing a doctor. Eventually finding assistance from the state, Sophea wishes there was a more affordable coverage available for all.
