I joined so I could help spread awarness about multiple sclerosis. My mother was DX 8 months after my older brother was born back in 1984. My mother was put into a nursing home when I was in 2nd grade. March of 2008 she was DX with lung cancer. Because of  MS she was not able to fight it and passed away April 13th 2008.

For the last 2 years I've done the MS walk. My family and friends make up Team Rowie. I hope that one day more people will learn about MS and hopfully cure it.
