Clean-Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP),makes it its business to know what Americans – particularly in the Northeast – think, feel, and want to do about climate change. Through our innovative grassroots projects, CA-CP has succeeded in energizing universities, business groups, citizen’s groups, individuals, and institutions to start taking action to stop global warming.
We help universities, businesses and cities find ways to lower their carbon emissions. We engage citizens directly in efforts to stop global warming. And through our Carbon Coalition project www.carboncoalition.org, we've energized voters to begin holding their elected officials and candidates for office accountable for their policies on global warming.
One of our biggest current efforts is to get all of the presidential candidates to tell us what their plan is to fight global warming if they get elected. Some of them have a lot to say about the issue -- some of them have a long way to go to show they get it. To find out what they have to say, check out our candidates page, www.carboncoalition.org/candidates/index.php, and then go ask the candidates coming through your town or city what they plan to do to stop global warming if you give them your vote.
To find out how you can get involved on your campus or in your town, go to http://www.cleanair-coolplanet.org/action/ and join the movement.
