Why I’m Here
I served in Iraq with the US Marine Corps. I joined the military after 9/11 because I wanted to do my part to fight terrorism and wanted the combat experience. I also joined to gain status in a professional career after the military.

I’m a registered Republican, and against withdrawing our troops from Iraq because it would result in a void being left wide open for our enemies to exploit.  I think the next president should see that the job in Iraq is completed.  We now have an obligation to Iraqis, the Region and ourselves to see that Iraq does not become the next choice for terrorists and regimes who support them.

No One is Pro War....

One stereotype I find cliche of being a Republican and a supporter of keeping troops in Iraq is that we are pro war junkies.  This couldn't be further from the truth.  I do support keeping troops in Iraq.  That is fact.  What that means is often interpreted in a negative light.

Life After Iraq
I decided to join the US Marine Corps after September 11, 2001. I wanted to do my part to fight terrorism and experience combat. Another motivating factor in my decision was to gain status in my professional career after the military.
