Brighter Planet was founded in an Environmental Economics couse at Middlebury College in the spring of 2005. Three years later, Brighter Planet has expanded into a team of dedicated individuals that are passionate about the environment and seek to engage people across the country on the issue of climate change.

We have developed an wide array of renewable energy projects across the country, including both wind projects and methane digesters. We travel around the Northeast and the nation meeting like-minded individuals who share our same enthusiasm for the climate movement. Our partner for these travels is our wonderful van Bessie, a 2005 Dodge Sprinter that has been converted to run on waste vegetable oil, a carbon neutral fuel.
