I just had a nephew who was gunned down down in the back of his head and there were of course no witnesses to this crime. Why are people afraid to speak out against heinous crimes as this. I know they care about what's going on, but why all the silence?
I am glad to see the supporters who have joined in and I hope that we will eventually cover all areas of concerns nationwide, thanks everyone, Erodgerssr
When our youth fall down and makes mistakes that could destroy thier future; who picks them up? A "Mentor" like you
From The Heart of Pastor Earnest Rodgers, AKA “Big Dad”
I have spent many hours of mentoring young males from all ages up to adults since 1988, particularly, with African-American males. I have a heart felt passion when I talk about these youth because they each have a story to tell, some are sad and it brings tears to my eyes, while others brings gladness, but they are all still our youth.

We were successful in helping redirect some lives, while some of the youths went to prison, some became victims of gun shot wounds and some were kiiled through the act of violence; they all were special to me, they were all Big Dad Sons. I refused to give it the norm that these youth are unsavable and needs only be thrown into the system, I believe that God has a solution, mentoring. but through the grace and help of God, many of these troubled young can and will turn their lives around, but only through if we follow God's divine plan.

There is a quantitative amount of studies and evidence that suggest that youth in neighborhoods with high rates of social problems are likely to imitate negative role models or associates with peers involved in delinquency, sexual activity, and substance abuse. But with the proper nurturing, guidance and patience, many of these youth, with the support of their mentor, will turn their lives around. So find a troubled youth, boy or girl, and spend a little time with them to show that you care, help save our youth!

Thanks, Rev. Earnest G, Rodgers, SR. AKA, Big Dad
