I am a founding corps member of City Year Louisiana and am now working as a community volunteer that has dedicated the last three years to community service through out the nation. I believe that a small group of individuals with a common goal can effect a world full of change. It is evidenced by every major social movement in history. If we stand together as young people in our communities, there is not a law or man that can knock us down. I am tired of people complaining about what is wrong but never offering a solution. I am here to connect with people that have ideas on how to solve our issues, how to improve the lives of our future generations, and who understand that we do today DOES have an impact on what happens tomorrow.
