The 2008 presidential election has seen youth voters turn out in record numbers to support their candidates during the long, hard-fought primary season. We made our voice known and proved that we are a force to be reckoned with.
More than ever it's important to ensure that our voice is heard in the halls of government and all across America. This year the youth of America should pledge to vote, absentee if necessary, and show our support in this historic general election race.
Above all, we need to make informed and intelligent decisions about the candidates. Knowledge is power: the power to enable young voters like us to make our own decisions about the future of our country, and not let the media horse race drown out what's most important. We can turn our power into election might.
