Mission Statement

The Eyes on Africa Foundation is a non-profit organization started by college students throughout North America. The Foundation works to raise money through donations and the sale of EOAF merchandise. All money goes directly into the hands of capable, excited volunteers every summer for several trips to South Africa where it will be personally delivered to beneficiaries.

The Eyes on Africa Foundation is committed to providing relief to poverty and disease ridden areas throughout Africa through monetary donations and volunteerism.

What's New


	Anyone interested in joining the Eyes on Africa Foundation for a volunteer trip to South Africa (where we'll put all the money and hard work we've done this past 1/2 year to good use) please check out www.EyesOnAfricaFoundation.org to read details and download the application form. The trip dates are set as: Trip #1 May 25 – June 11, 2008 During our time in South Africa we'll be building houses, volunteering at orphanages, and we'll end with a safari in Kruger National Park! Winter break '08 (next school year) the Eyes on Africa Foundation will be building schools in Kenya. This is a huge commitment, and we're excited, but need your help! Please join us for this opportunity to bring the gift of education to those without. EOAF will continue to support these schools even after construction is complete through monetary donations and volunteer support. The Eyes on Africa Foundation is funding the reconstruction and reevaluation of a medical clinic in Rupara, Namibia. The new Rupara Community Center will provide HIV/AIDS testing for youth, peer counciling, after school events, and other community activites centered on learning how to live a healthy life style. It's incredible to see the difference a small group can make! The orphans and victims being helped by Eyes on Africa had no choice in their situation.....they were born into it. If all of us can share a small part of our good fortune, we can make a sustainable difference in their lives. Please help!!

It's amazing what even a small group of people with a passion for helping others can do in this world . . . Imagine if tons of us pitched in to support Eyes on Africa what we could do for Othandweni and other places like it! Can't wait to get us over there so we all can experience that passion and spread it to others!
