After losing her job and home, Veronica Perez and her two daughters spent more than six months down-and-out. Surfing from couch to couch of family and friends, Perez finally found a place of her own. The National Day of Silence was designed to bring attention to anti-gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Outside of Mt. Si High School in Snoqualmie, Wash. Camille Gomez and Brandon Walter show their support by duct taping their mouths, hoping to encourage students to address the problem.

During Seattle's Green Festival, Kristen Kennedy from Seven-Star, Inc. gave me the low down on recycling during a behind the scenes tour of the event. Kennedy explains why the environment is playing such a large role in the coming presidential election and talks about some Green effort being put forth during the Democratic National Convention. I spent a day at the Seattle Green Festival learning the latest in clean technology, green careers, natural foods, and much more.

Her name is Skye Lynn Budnick 5'6 180 brown hair blue eyes
she was last seen Monday night March 31 we checked her email and she had purchased a one way ticket to Japan, She loves everything that has to do with the japanese culture, She never told any friends or family about this trip, but she has been very depressed, and has always said that she wanted to leave to go to Japan and just kill herself there.
