I grew up in a small coal mining community in Logan, West Virginia. The coal mines were always the source of this communitys prosperity

In the 80-90s the coal mines work seemed to just stop. The town after that has tuned into a drug, crime, and prostitution infestion. The police are corrupt, the people are suffering, people ARE dieing.

I would like to see someone help this dieing community before it's too late.

Heres some links to show you the extent of all of this:

The list goes on and on. The one thing you have to understand is that this is a very small community so the effects of all of these occourences are devistating..I just find it hard to believe that there's no way to try to help this town and save its people.

A good start to fixing this problem would be to start informing the citizens to arm themselves. They cannot protect themselves without a firearm. This in itself will greatly start reducing crime.
well i agree with all natural healer and also just try somehow to put some positive things in the town

good lord. hoenstly im at a loss for words.
first of all i think your community needs to come together.
if i were you id try and contact your mayor or whoever runs your city and inform them about the police and crime thats going on.
seoriusly i think youd become a local hero even just getting people aware about this.

Police are only as corrupt as the judges that back them. Not knowing how deep the corruption goes is dangerous when looking for an avenue for relief. Public awareness is a must. Once this is complete the election for Mayor will fix this. It just has to be made a big issue for the election.
