The reason for my discussion is driven by a source within myself compelled after I saw this video. My heart and soul goes out to all the YOUTH in Iran whos voices have been silenced through raw beatings and cold blooded murder.

     Can you imagine living in a world where what you say will dictate your life or death? Can you imagine living in a society where 70% of the population is under the age of thirty but still cannot be heard? These children who have mustered up the courage and bravery that not even the world's super powers have been able to do for the past thirty years are now being cut down, beaten to death, thrown from buildings, hung in the middle of the street, shot through their hearts.... silenced. But they continue to come out day after day, marching down the street without violence, chanting in together, "Down with the Dictator, Down with the Supreme Leader, Down with this Government, We want Democracy."

     I am Christian, I am not Muslim or Jewish for this to be a biased one sided story. To all the believers, and non-believers, this is a calling that deals nothing with religion but everything with the right to live a happy life, a life where your choices will dictate how you will reach your end and how you get there, not one man telling you what you can and cannot be. The only thing these young men, women, and children are dying for is... "The voice of millions wanting to be heard, a quest for their freedom who's story is left untold... They are asking for global compassion and acknowledgement."  

    There is a line in this music video that made me dream for a moment how our world would be if these youth succeeded in their struggle. "Here I am, Asking for the world to free my land, Oh yes we can, LIVE IN HARMONY just hand in hand, hear me... help me to free... my land." Can you imagine a middle east where the hub of terrorism is now democratic? A land where the youth condem terrorist actions and will bring them to justice within their own lands? A world where everyone can stand hand in hand, with love as their common bond. It is not a dream but a possibility, these children are like you and I. They simply want the world to come together. They are willing to die in the streets in cold blood to prove it. What else must they do for world leaders around the globe to realize it. To finally speak out. To finally say, "We are with you, we are with the Youth of Iran."

     Please, if nothing else, simply watch this music video and you will understand where this drive in me has come from. You will be able to connect with every single child in Iran. Watch this video and help stop the killings that believers and non-believers alike condem.
