WOW... amazing photos... thank you for showing the pics of my lovely country. I just can't get enough with the pics and articles. I was raised and born in Lima and poverty is all around. I cannot complaint of the life I had there (moved here to the US 2 yrs ago), I had everything but when you live in a 3rd world country, your perception of life, changes completely. For me, it was a cultural shock too when I first came to live here. My mother in-law was a stay home mom and she enjoyed it. In Lima, since I was a kid, I saw both of my parents, go to work at early morning and come home late from work. I did not understand how come she chose that life for her. Even tho, I respect it, that is not for me. I was raised understanding that you have to work hard to get what you want. That not always you are going to get what you want, and to get the nicest shoes, purses or clothes.. you have to wait until there is money in your pocket, IF you can afford it. Exiled is really a good show, that shows that is not all about money, I think the concept of the show is to show this teens, the real life, that I had it too. The cultural shock is unbelievable, and really makes you think. You have to embrace every second of a new experience, and challenge yourself with a positive mind that you can do it all. Thank you again, for showing the reality of my home sweet Land...
