I think this photo is hysterical.  This is one of the little girl’s pretending to read some magazines I brought from NYC.  They’re so anxious to learn to read that they spend a lot of time role-playing that they are in fact reading.  It’s a sign these girls are ready to be in school, but they’re not ;(

The final interview of Cher after the Emebera told her she was an Embera women.  She was so happy!

To make a phone call to NYC I had to climb to the top of the highest peak, climb the tallest tree then climb the ladder that the top of the tree.  tHe photo cuts off the bottom of the tree, but there is 20 feet below the ladder!
