well ive been curoius since students in canada take geography and study about the USA and the numerous different states in it and the fast areas of water it has and all that geographical stuff..

does the USA study about Canada?

ive been really curious about it since in many different peices of media, such as  multiple tv shows, and in magazines and possibly news papers.  theres always how the USA has  a "dumb" image for not knowing the different areas of land in Canada. just curoius about it and if this myth is actualy true.

Sure, the United States studies Canada. In this world of nuclear weapons that can be shot from other continents, Canada is important from a strategic point of view since it's a buffer and you can place anti-ballistic missile defenses there as well. In the high school classrooms, a student may learn a little bit about Canada in Geography classes. This information is only introductory since Geography tries to talk about the entire world, and not focus too much on one country.
