I have had and seen mulitple comments from people on think that are extremly disrespectful not only to me but to many others on think. We should really put a limit on our choice of words. Even if it is a topic we get enraged about we should go around it with respect for the other person. Whos with me on this ?

Yes, I have experienced disrespectful remarks here on think too .Just because this is a site, and not real life, not being able to look the person in the eye it doesn't mean we can take advantage of this and use disrespectful remarks but we should use it in order to educate one another and exchange opinions on all kinds of subjects in a CIVILIZED manner.Isn't this what MTVThink is all about??!!!??Such a shame that some people here on Think can't understand that.

You know, it used to be that "discrimination" was considered an essential faculty of every adult person. An undiscriminating person is a person without taste or judgment, a person who does not distinguish between the good and the bad, between low quality and high quality, between what is acceptable and what is not. But nowadays, in this Alice in Wonderland world we're living in, "discrimination" has become the ultimate sin, and every Politically Correct person must declare himself free not only of any actual practice of discrimination but also of any tendency or desire to discriminate.
(Dr. William Pierce)

You know I realize this is just your oppinion but in all honesty no one person is diffrent from the other, we are all the same and we are all on this earth just as the other person. We should not put ourselves higher above people, that makes our egos thirst for more, it does not to us good or anyone else for that matter.

''distinguish between the good and the bad''???what seems to u like a good thing, to another one it could seem like a bad one.The truth is objective , it is only the points of view towards it that are infinetely subjective rodham! So what you;re saying is that discrimination is a good thing?I cannot believe u attributed discrimination such things as helping somebody make the difference between right or wrong!!!

If you look closely, Rodham was quoting Dr. Pierce and I think it's not his own opinion.

We are all =!!!! we were born = we die =!!It is only in certain situations that it is truly proven to us that we are all the same and we manage to see the true meaning of the word. When we truly get to see the essence of things and finally see, that what is thought of as superior and inferior is a WRONG THING!that owning I don't know how many villas or the latest BMW car model doesn't make u superior in any way to somebody who doesn't have that...aaaaaaaaaaa...Such a shame that some of us are so blind. Most of us have such a distorsioned image as to what equality means. And some of us have no image of that whatsoever!

AGREEED!!
Re: Misscherie 401 days ago
A lot of what you've said here, Eva, directly contradicts what you've said in the past. What about the selective relativism? What about "to each his own"? What if an individual doesn't believe what you've said about the BMWs? How can you tell him he's wrong if everything is up for interpretation? You see, in relativism, you can't have the absolutes you are professing here. Nothing can be definitively wrong or right. Nothing can be distorted, and nothing can be equal.

No Conorhennessey, even then a teacher is not superior to a rapist. A rapist has a mental prblem. You might as well said that people who are under the standards of "normal" are suppirior to those who have disabilities. Putting yourself higher above somebody is extremly wrong. Clearly you do not know why. But why this is , is becuase when you put yourself higher above somebody it becomes a habbit and it creates a lot of negative energy towards that person.
Re: saroin420 398 days ago
Conorhennessey, apparently you do not understand of what im trying to get at here. People, every type no matter the skin colour or gender or ethnicity are all equal. It doesn't matter if they are disabled or if they aren't as skilled at certain things as you are, they are still people and we are all the same and we are all equal. We all are energy and we all have feelings and are the same inside, we are equal. To be ignorant of that fact is not a very wise choice.

Discrimation: Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice;unfair treatment of a person or group on the basis of prejudice. That my dears is discrimation not disrespectful comments, every time you post a comment or forum you're exercising the first amendment of the Bill of Rights. Now as for how you write it is wholly up that person, we can't all be political correct or use tact to get our point across.
Re: zorachzeus 400 days ago
There is no discrimination in expressing your opinion. Disrespect is only being felt by people who looks and thinks highly of themselves. Respect is given to the person. Rebuttal to the argument is not a disrespectful action but merely for the sake of debating and discussion.
Re: saroin420 399 days ago
zorachzeus, there is discriminations in opinions. People could follow in the foot steps of some discrimitive comments and deeply belive that, which would then shape their comments diffrently.

I agree with this Saroin. The whole point of this site is to interact and connect with eachother, Express our opinons, Respect those of other people, And even help people and make a difference. This site isn't here to bully people or shove religion or your opinon down their throat.

No, it is very obvious that some people are better then others. Yes, we are all people, I think we all agree on that. Some of us are smarter, some of us are stronger.

And to clarify, we are all matter, not energy. Just like sand, rocks and ****, and not like light or heat.
Re: saroin420 397 days ago
Conorhennessey, you are very wrong about that. We are energy and it is scientificly proven. Are you telling me that in jr.high and high schools when they say that energy can not be created nor distroyed and they say that we give off energy, so your telling me thats wrong ? Also everything in this world gives off energy even the planets. I suggest you go look it up.
Again, it is wrong to make yourself and other people seem better than others. Everyone is here for a reason and offer the earth diffrent things. Everyone has a gift even if you are ranked the stupidest person in the world. What I mean by this is some people are phycick, some can see ghosts, some have dreams about things before they even happen, some can feel others emotions and animals emotions, etc. Even animals have a gift to offer the world, look at how they interact with nature. Ex: the bees take pollin from the flowers and turn it in to honey which is extremly good for us. Also scientists are doing a study on fruit flys about their genetics and they are learning so much about it. Anyways to be ignorant that everyone is equal again is basicialy turning your back on the truth.
Re: Misscherie 396 days ago
Remember Saroin420, not to assign energy thinking properties and elements of self-awareness. I can say, I'm full of energy today and mean that I'm the opposite of being tired. Also, we shouldn't assume that because animals are a gift that they are deserving of the same status of rights bearers that humans are. I find it odd that you're again talking about truth, when you've admitted before you don't even know what truth is. But I do agree with you that we should treat animals fairly and also give respect (at the very least) to all people. However, remember this too, Saroin420, when you are speaking about world leaders you don't agree with. You don't want to create another double standard.
