Dave sure loved California, especially the weather. An active guy, Dave enjoyed the solar heated pool and the putting green, not to mention the pool table, hot tub, outside gym, and the b-ball court.

 Ugh, but one thing Dave didn't exactly "enjoy" was riding the bike every time he needed to use the computer. "It was like taking spinning classes times 10 to get 5 mins of computer time, I'm all about the double wammy work out plus saving the planet ....but damn that thing was tough." 

Overall, Dave was impressed that the house could be eco-freindly and still manage to provide so many amenities!  He realized how easy it is to see eco-friendliness worked into your everyday life.  "Some people think it's tough and it's really not." 

Dave would say to young people out there, "what we do now affects the future for us and our kids.  Unplug appliances if you're not using them, bike, walk, car pool, gas is crazy, invest in a hybrid.  Car complnies are actually starting to make cool looking ones".
