Thanks for putting so much focus on education! Both of my sons, Nikos and Dimitri have to attend special needs schools because the public schools didn't have the resources to educate two brilliant kids who happen to have different learning styles.

That is the most important part of whats going on. The NCLB Tests are being manipulated to take away the tools our children need to succeed in math and science. That is why the kids that are progressing are being held back by the "glass ceiling" provided by the tests. The schools organize to the test so when it is manipulated the entire school is manipulated. This is the danger of a Central Education Agency like the Department of Education.

My dad is a middle school teacher, he hates NCLB and all the testing.
