Jane’s Top Thirteen List… no special order or category… sorry I can’t pick just ten.
Fight Club
Boondock Saints
The Visitor
The Cinderella Man
August Rush
A Beautiful Mind
The Corpse Bride
Charlotte's Web (Both old and new)
Sideways
Without a Paddle
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Legally Blonde
American History X (Special Note: I have to put this “special note” to any of you whom have not seen this movie… a funny and true story… a buddy of mine who is actually a cousin of a very dear friend… a young black guy… from Detroit like myself… his name is Angelo and we call him Twinkie… he came over from Miami to chill for the weekend with me and my daughter in Fort Lauderdale… he brought a few movies to watch… I turned him onto “Boondock Saints”… he turned me onto “American History X”… I have to tell you when I first put it in I was in shock and I kept trying to take it out… Twinkie, a young black guy… was cracking up and kept hitting my hand and telling me to leave it alone and watch it… I really thought he was messing with me and I was getting a little pissed and had no desire to watch the movie… he thought my reaction was the funniest thing and insisted that we watch the movie and begged me to trust him, it was one of his favorite movies… so basically my point is… it is brutal at first just bear with it… it is worth the good ending!)
