stumbling stairway
dimly lit
mind numbing
my bones creek
flesh stretched
tight over skeleton
burning eyesockets
water them please
send some rain and wind

i feel dry and overheated
fever no bliss no innocence
guilty conscience no its too
supressed
mind searching heart hardening
soul is wandering and i like to hear sad songs
so i can hear myslef singing in frustration
and don't feel alone in my pain
gentle chords and melodies

fingernails tear away
at the dead flaking flesh
on my neck and face
an inward quiet
submissin to this hell
hidden by a smile
depression is low in tears
high in fever and disease
