Finding It
Posted May 08, 2008 at 11:32 PM

I am looking for that thing that exists. That invisible energy that makes humans do what humans do. The flow of thought and perception of soul that seems ever present but ultimately unpinpointable. It gets into all the cracks of creation. It falls between all the letters of a book. It's in the clicks off a record player, the threads of your clothes, the hairs that stand up on the back of your neck. Those moments of clearity that pull your mind a level higher than its supposed to go (but possible wher they are intended to). It's in things old and new. New things produce it, old things store it. I wouldn't dare to say its love, or God. but i'm sure God made it. The thing that makes man move, makes him sing, dance, draw, write, paint, the thing that allows man to labor and toil under the sun for hours on end. Maybe its hope. Maybe its many of things. Who knows? We wouldn't have all the fun of searching for it if we knew exactly what we were looking for. It might even be different things for different people, but i still think its all connected somehow. Maybe God created us just to exist so he wouldn't be alone, so he'd have someone to share all the cool things he thought up with. Maybe there was just so much God that he just couldn't be content to do nothing for all eternity and decided to make humans and then leave hope all over the place. gives us clues and scattered puzzle peices. We can't see the box, but God just keeps whispering to us helping us along the way. Helping find what's importnat. What would be the point of getting to heaven and not understanding why heaven is a good thing. We can't see the whole sky at once. and God created that. how will we expect God to be contained inside of heaven, perhaps we will be inside of God. well this is all speculation anyways. which brings up the question, does thought affect reality? thought is perceptions so if you see things a different way they are different for you. maybe that's why no one can agree. only people with reconcilible perceprtion can get along. a soulmate must be someone that has a soul that perceives things the same way yours does, and when you put the two together the eyes of the soul open even wider. God is our final soulmate, so life is the transforming of our minds so that we can one day see things the same as He does and our eyes will be opened, our souls will be opened and the universe will either become a great deal vaster or considerable insignifigant with that knowledable perception. it is a piece of the puzzle, and i'm slowing finding it
