If I were president, I would definitely find ways to provide more positive opportunities and resources for the youth in urban communities. This is will definitely help them get off the streets and decrease the rate of violence.

I agree with you! And I would expand YouthBuild in particular so 50,000 youth could join every year!

If I were president I would make sure all of the who are in the system with department of humans services where all taking care of in the way they needed to be i would make sure that no matter what has happened or what is happing that they will have the education they need and more

I agree with you because there is too much violence going on in the city of Piladelphia, which is where I am from.The way I think that I would change as the president is put more resources out there so people can have access to them. I would personally talk to people to find out their needs and get them what they want. It would be my pleasure to do somthing positive to stop the violence from going on.

If I was the president of Philadelphia, I would try to lower all the murder rates in Philly and try to bring our young people together.

i would change the police abuse in philadelphia physically and verbilly so that the youth of our future won't feel like thy're being violated outside our homes/in our homes

If I was the president,I would try my best to make everyone in a safe environment by taking alot of drugs and guns away to prevent so much violence.

If i were president i would try my best in changing the community. I would help Americans who are i need of financial assistance down I would also help change the school system and help the kids achieve equal education as well as help them to achieve their goals in life.I see the crime rate in Philly is getting no better!! I would help youth get off the streets and prevent crime by having after-school activites for the youth . This is my plan for a brighter America. Sincerly, your future president!!

If I were president, I would work to make sure that more work was done to focus on PREVENTING problems rather than reacting to them with band-aid fixes... improving programs and services that address root causes of crime, education gaps, underemployment and other issues facing the nation. Addressing poverty, providing more opportunities, being free of corporate interests and allowing all people to better their lives.

If I were president, I would adopt the YouthBuild's way of handling policy issues. I would be sure to have a mix group of ethnic & income backgrounds to really attack the issues that "Our America" is dealing with. I would make sure that I asked the people what they needed rather than deciding for them! Last I would lean on the Senate, Congress and local politicians in attempt to ensure they understand the communities they represent in an effort to stop band-aiding the problems in “Our America” and work to find a resolution to what ails our broken communities.
