For the people that wasn't there u have no idea how moving this event was. The energy was outstanding

I was looking for this event on tv and online last night. My boyfriend also spoke at this event. I wanted to be there!!! Cheyenne (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), your speech was very powerful. That whole situation is crazy and to experience it at such a young age makes it even harder to deal with. I congratulate you on all of your success and achievement. Keep striving for the best and you will achieve nothing BUT THE BEST! I know all of you were representing!

I dont think that I have ever been to a more powerful event in my life, thanks to all the great leaders that participated in this event, and thanks to MTV for allowing all of us to have a voice in this country. I think that this was definitely needed and it could not have been at a better place than Washington DC. I'm proud of everyone that participated.

I am so glad that you told your story. People need to understand that our children are facing so many situations that are so complex. I am glad to serve along with you as a City Year Corps member. Let people know that anyone can make a difference.
