What do actress Hilary Duff, NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne, and country music singer Sara Evans have in common? They are creating positive change in the world by volunteering -- AND they are all members of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.
The President's Council on Service and Civic Participation brings together leaders from the worlds of business, entertainment, sports, education, government, nonprofits, and the media to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers -- especially young people -- are making in our Nation. Meet the members of the President's Council.
The President's Council developed the President's Volunteer Service Award to recognize and thank outstanding individuals and teams for their volunteer efforts.
