I agree it's a good idea. I think they focus on one drug at a time though to get the true image of it. I also smoked marijuana heavily in my past, mainly when I was 13 and 14, One thing about marijuana is that the substance itself isn't addictive, but the effects it has are. One day I just kicked using it because I had smoked so much so frequently that it was taking far to much to get me "high." Marijuana is a gateway drug but I think people focus to much on that and not on the fact that the person has to choose to do another drug, it's a choice whether or not to go through that gate and on to other worse drugs. They used to show commercials that had an egg representing your brain then they'd smash it and go "This is your brain on drugs" I think they should skip that and actually show a healthy brain then one that had been all screwed up due to drug use. They can show brains on the CSI shows they need to show it on anti-drug commercials.

I agree i wish they would have had a show like that about two years ago i started smoking weed and it was a gateway drug i ended up getting inot stronger and more dangerous stuff, im proud to say now that im completely drug free, but it took me hitting rock bottom before i realized it was a problem, I think its a great ideaa for mtv!!! If i would have seen something like tha tit might have had an effect on me.

Why is it a lot of people can't simply not use drugs because it's their simple fast decision? All of our lives we are told what drugs do and the effects they have, why do you need to see an MYV episode in order to comprehend what you have already been told and taught?

i think they should as well. i have done lots of drugs in the past and struggled with addiction. i am happily sober for 1 year. but i still have to deal with negative affects of all the things i did. i have a cough constantly, i have started aging way early, i have hardly any memory i shake all the time. i want people to see that side of drugs and realize how bad it is. it was fun at first but when it gets to the point of u needing drugs not just wanting them occasionally for fun it isnt fun or cool anymore. i want more people to see that and hopefully not get into the harder drugs that ruin your life and or kill you.

thats what interventions for! but i agree they should do more shows about younge people on drugs (that sounds terrible lol ) but younger people need to see what will happen to your future and how it will destroy it drastically before you even get your life started.
