Dental hygiene is often passed over for children who are in families of low income. I covered this event for The Collegian, the college's newspaper. It was great to see the bright smiles of the children during the event. They received cleanings and sealants to protect their teeth from cavities. They were trained in eating right and brushing and flossing correctly. Along with their beautiful smiles, they were given treat bags with dental products and materials to help them continue good dental
