VIDEO:  It's Just What Maryland Does

If you ask an 18-year-old what issues matter to them in this election year, most will say the environment and the economy. But for Ben Byers, a Maryland crabber, those two things have more of a direct impact on his life than your average youth voter. He loves the water and his job. The only problem is that he’s not sure if the industry that supports his way of life will be around a mere ten years from now.

good job Kristen! you should do a follow up video interviewing Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler and Erin Fitzsimmons, Special Assistant to the Environment and their aggressive plan to clean up Chesapeake Bay. One of the biggest problems in our blessed Bay is nutrient pollution from agriculture and other sources, particularly all the chicken factories in the watershed. Gansler's the man with the plan to reduce nutrient pollution and restore splendor to our Bay!

I am sending your video to some of the 12+ Waterkeepers of the Chesapeake!
